Das Vereinsdilemma
Jeder Verein braucht Werkzeuge: eine Getränkeabrechnung für den Kiosk, eine Verleihübersicht für das Equipment, vielleicht eine Mitgliederverwaltung. Der Markt bietet dafür reichlich Lösungen. Die meisten laufen über fremde Server, binden euch an einen Vertrag mit Mindestlaufzeit und setzen eine ständige Internetverbindung voraus.
Für einen kleinen Sportverein mit 40 Mitgliedern ist das schwer zu rechtfertigen. Das Budget ist knapp, die Bedürfnisse sind überschaubar, und die Kassenwart-Aufgabe wechselt alle paar Jahre.
Warum wir anders denken
Bei Halpps haben wir zwei Apps, die typische Vereinsprobleme lösen: BarHalpper und LoanHalpper.
BarHalpper ersetzt die Strichliste am Kiosk durch ein iPad-Terminal. Jedes Mitglied hat ein PIN-geschütztes Profil, Getränke werden per Fingertipp gebucht, und am Monatsende geht die Abrechnung als PDF per Mail raus.
LoanHalpper hält fest, wer welches Vereinsgerät ausgeliehen hat. Mit Fotos, digitalem Zustandsvermerk und Unterschrift direkt auf dem Touchscreen. Kein Papierformular, kein Suchen in WhatsApp-Gruppen.
Warum das für Vereine aufgeht
Auch unsere Apps kosten Geld, das sagen wir offen: Beide laufen über ein Abo, das ihr direkt im App Store abschließt. Der Unterschied liegt in dem, was dabei wegfällt. Ihr unterschreibt keinen Vertrag mit uns, verhandelt keine Mindestlaufzeit und schickt keine Kündigung per Post. Das Abo läuft über euren Apple-Account und lässt sich dort jederzeit mit zwei Tippern beenden.
Die Daten laufen über iCloud, also über die Infrastruktur, die Apple sowieso bereitstellt. Wir betreiben keine eigenen Server, bekommen eure Mitgliederdaten nie zu sehen und finanzieren uns weder über Werbung noch über den Weiterverkauf von Daten.
Was das für deinen Verein bedeutet
Du lädst die App herunter, schließt das Abo im App Store ab und legst los. Kein Vertrag mit uns, keine Einrichtungsgebühr, keine Schulung. Falls die App irgendwann nicht mehr zu euch passt, beendet ihr das Abo in den iOS-Einstellungen und löscht sie. Fertig.
The club dilemma
Every club needs tools: a drink settlement system for the bar, a lending overview for equipment, maybe a membership manager. The market offers plenty of solutions. Most run on someone else's servers, tie you into a contract with a minimum term and depend on a constant internet connection.
For a small sports club with 40 members, that is hard to justify. The budget is tight, the needs are manageable, and the treasurer role changes every few years.
Why we think differently
At Halpps we have two apps that solve typical club problems: BarHalpper and LoanHalpper.
BarHalpper replaces the tally sheet at the bar with an iPad terminal. Every member has a PIN-protected profile, drinks are booked with a tap, and at the end of the month the settlement goes out as a PDF by email.
LoanHalpper keeps track of who borrowed which club equipment. With photos, a digital condition note and a signature right on the touchscreen. No paper forms, no searching through WhatsApp groups.
Why this works for clubs
Our apps cost money too, and we would rather say so plainly: both run on a subscription you take out directly in the App Store. The difference lies in what falls away. You sign no contract with us, negotiate no minimum term and post no written cancellation. The subscription runs through your Apple account and can be ended there at any time with two taps.
Data runs through iCloud, the infrastructure Apple provides anyway. We run no servers of our own, never get to see your member data, and fund ourselves neither through advertising nor by reselling data.
What this means for your club
You download the app, take out the subscription in the App Store and get going. No contract with us, no setup fee, no training. If the app no longer fits your needs someday, you end the subscription in your iOS settings and delete it. Done.
