Die erste Hürde ist oft die größte
Du lädst eine App herunter, öffnest sie, und das Erste, was du siehst, ist ein Anmeldeformular. Name, E-Mail, Passwort, vielleicht noch eine Bestätigungsmail. Bevor du die App überhaupt ausprobieren kannst, sollst du ein Konto anlegen. Für viele Leute ist das der Moment, in dem sie die App wieder schließen.
Wir finden: Das muss nicht sein.
Was ein Konto wirklich bedeutet
Ein Benutzerkonto ist kein technisches Detail. Es ist eine Entscheidung darüber, wer deine Daten kontrolliert. Sobald du dich irgendwo registrierst, liegen deine Informationen auf einem fremden Server. Der Anbieter kann sie auswerten, weitergeben oder verlieren. Das gilt auch dann, wenn in der Datenschutzerklärung etwas anderes steht.
Bei Halpps funktioniert keine einzige App mit einem Konto. Deine Daten bleiben auf deinem Gerät. Wenn du sie zwischen iPhone und iPad synchronisieren willst, läuft das über deine eigene iCloud. Wir sehen davon nichts.
Geht das denn technisch?
Ja. Apple bietet mit iCloud und CloudKit alles, was man für eine sichere Synchronisation braucht. Die Daten werden verschlüsselt über deine persönliche Apple-ID übertragen. Kein eigener Server nötig, kein Konto bei uns, kein Risiko eines Datenlecks auf unserer Seite.
Das heißt auch: Wenn wir morgen als Firma verschwinden würden, laufen deine Apps weiter. Deine Daten sind nicht an unsere Infrastruktur gebunden.
Was du davon hast
Du öffnest die App und kannst sofort loslegen. Kein Onboarding, kein Passwort-Manager, keine Spam-Mails von uns. Und falls du die App irgendwann löschst, sind deine Daten wirklich weg, nicht irgendwo auf einem Server, von dem du nichts weißt.

You download an app, open it, and the first thing you see is a sign-up form. Name, email, password, maybe a confirmation link. Before you can even try the app, you are supposed to create an account. For many people, that is the moment they close the app again.
We think it does not have to be that way.
What an account really means
A user account is not a technical detail. It is a decision about who controls your data. The moment you register somewhere, your information sits on someone else's server. The provider can analyse it, share it or lose it. That applies even when the privacy policy says otherwise.
At Halpps, not a single app requires an account. Your data stays on your device. If you want to sync between iPhone and iPad, that runs through your own iCloud. We see none of it.
Is that technically possible?
Yes. Apple provides everything you need for secure synchronisation with iCloud and CloudKit. Data is encrypted and transferred via your personal Apple ID. No custom server needed, no account with us, no risk of a data breach on our end.
It also means: if we disappeared as a company tomorrow, your apps would keep working. Your data is not tied to our infrastructure.
What you get out of it
You open the app and start right away. No onboarding, no password manager, no spam emails from us. And if you delete the app someday, your data is truly gone, not sitting on a server you have forgotten about.
